PI type: the Inductive proximity sensor detect the presence of metallic objects. Their operating principle is based on a coil and high frequency oscillator that creates a field in the close surroundings of the sensing surface. The presence of metal in front of sensor cause a change in the oscillation amplitude that change the output of the sensor. Compatible with PLC units. Available with 2/3 wires and 5...60VDC operating voltage, temperature -25 /+85 °C
PN type : inductive proximity Namur, 2 wire non amplified sensor whose current varies in the presence of a metallic object.
